How have you guys got on with the Mirena IUD? Major Side Effects or Fantastic? - mirena coil side effects asthma
I'm eager to see how well the Mirena IUD is reviewed with you? :-) I was previously in the copper IUD has put in me and me pregnant, so I think the Mirena is right for me? I am a little worried, of course, an intrauterine device other whatsoever.
I chose copper because it is free of hormones and damn suffer from premenstrual dysphoric disorder, so I try to be a very low dose of hormones (like I can not do without hormones go now ... choose copper IUD), so that the Mirena only alright with that?
I am currently on Yasmin and totally hate insomnia and depression receive constant danger from him, and I'm looking for a change at the end of the pack .. Would you recommend the Mirena coil?
(Yes, I am ask my doctor as well .. I need not tell, I need to make some observations and experiences, Mirena)
Thank you :-)

I had the Mirena for 3 years. My only problem was heavy / long periods of time. Mines drilled in my stomach. As painful for the disposal, which traumatized me, it is not the spiral. But during the time I had it in no major complaints.
I had a wonderful experience with my Mirena. The insertion was very painful for me and I bleed every 2 weeks for 2 weeks during the first months, but since then, I could not be happier.
After the first 6 months, most of my hormonal side effects have disappeared. I have very short periods of light now, and little or no PMS (hu you for that).
Good luck with whatever you decide.
The insertion was painful, and the first two weeks was hard, with severe cramps, nausea, headaches and spots. Since then, the only major side effect was I had acne. It's almost as if I were in puberty. I had the Mirena for almost 5 months and I continue to hope that this side effect will disappear.
I also suffered from ovarian cysts, but the lack of their own - usually what they do.
I had no problems with mood swings or weight gain.
Good side effect is that my cycle was relatively stationary. It was discovered one day in October, but that's all.
Hope this helps! Good luck!
